About The Position

Innovatus Technology Consulting is seeking a skilled Network Engineer to join our team in Honolulu, Hawaii. This role supports critical Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC) infrastructure projects for Marine Corps and Navy environments. The successful candidate will contribute to the planning, design, implementation, and sustainment of secure, multi-platform networks. This position involves hands-on technical support, including installation, configuration, and on-call responsibilities to maintain classified network capabilities.

Requirements

  • Active Top Secret security clearance (TS/SCI preferred).
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of experience in network engineering, with hands-on expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise-level networks.
  • Strong knowledge of network hardware including routers, switches, firewalls, and related appliances (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, or equivalent).
  • Experience with installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of network devices in secure environments.
  • Familiarity with classified network sustainment, preferably in DoD/Military contexts (Marine Corps and/or Navy experience a plus).
  • Ability to work on-site in Honolulu, HI, with availability for on-call support and potential travel or fieldwork.
  • U.S. citizenship required.

Nice To Haves

  • Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, Security+, or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of multi-vendor network environments and performance optimization techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning, design, development, implementation, and technical support of multi-platform, multi-system networks, including requirements analysis and optimization of system performance.
  • Support the fielding and sustainment of Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC) networks, ensuring compliance with NSA guidelines for secure commercial technologies protecting classified information.
  • Assist with the installation, configuration, and ongoing support of network appliances, physical components, routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Provide on-call and touch labor support for the sustainment of Marine Corps and Navy networks, responding to operational needs in a dynamic environment.
  • Perform tasks and activities on systems and components assigned to INNOVATUS engineers to maintain and enhance existing CSfC infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot network issues, implement upgrades, and ensure high availability and security of classified systems.
  • Document configurations, processes, and procedures to support operational continuity and knowledge transfer.
