Network Engineer Key Role: Serve as a technical leader and hands-on engineer responsible for designing, implementing, and managing platform and network solutions that support U.S. government mission partner environments. Conduct site surveys and develop structured designs that address voice, data, security, and audio or visual systems, ensuring alignment with customer pain points, operational needs, Zero Trust objectives, and contractual requirements. Design engineered drawings, specifications, reports, and other technical documentation to support end-to-end solution development. Collaborate closely with Enterprise Solutions, Delivery Services, Capability teams, IT and facilities personnel, project teams, architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and technical stakeholders to analyze requirements and develop system designs, estimates, implementation plans, and structured cabling coordination across disciplines. Lead technical delivery activities as a hands-on contributor within multi-disciplinary teams. Implement final network and platform solutions to support on-premises and cloud environments. Manage the production and lifecycle of network devices, architecture design, and supporting documentation for deployment within global, data-centric mission partner networks. Apply IT Operations tools, cybersecurity capabilities, and assessment frameworks to modernize and strengthen Zero Trust infrastructures. Support research, rapid prototyping, and integration of emerging technologies to enhance interoperability, scalability, and mission readiness. Provide technical guidance, evaluation, and high-quality documentation to ensure successful solution implementation and mission partner alignment.
