Network Engineer As a Network Engineer on our team, you'll leverage your advanced networking expertise and firewall configuration skills to build and maintain a critical infrastructure that powers global operations. You'll work onsite in Arlington, VA to design cutting-edge network solutions, implement robust security protocols, and ensure peak performance across complex international systems. You'll travel internationally approximately 50% of the year, leading high-stakes deployments, solving complex technical challenges, and directly supporting operations that make a difference on a global scale. Key Responsibilities Conduct on-site network installations, upgrades, and maintenance at international locations. Design, configure, and maintain enterprise-level network systems, including LAN, WAN, VPN Troubleshoot and resolve advanced network issues to ensure optimal performance and uptime. Perform basic firewall configuration, including rule creation, monitoring, and maintenance to secure network environments. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support IT infrastructure projects and global deployments. Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to enhance efficiency. Document network configurations, processes, and procedures for operational continuity. Stay updated on emerging networking technologies and security best practices. Requirements Required Qualifications TS/SCI eligible clearance at time of hiring Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of relevant experience, or 8+ years of relevant experience in lieu of degree CCNP or equivalent Advanced knowledge of networking protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, MPLS) Proficiency in configuring and managing network devices (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Palo-Alto, routers) Basic experience with firewall configuration and management (e.g., Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, Fortinet) Familiarity with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Wireshark, Nagios) Ability to travel internationally for approximately 50% of the year, including extended stays as needed Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in high-pressure environments Excellent communication skills to collaborate with global teams Preferred Qualifications Experience with cloud networking (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) Knowledge of SD-WAN technologies Familiarity with scripting for network automation (e.g., Powershell, Ansible) Physical Requirements Ability to lift and install network equipment (up to 50 lbs) Comfortable working in data centers and traveling internationally for extended periods. Travel Requirements Approximately 50% domestic/international travel, including on-site support for global offices and data centers. Valid passport and willingness to obtain necessary visas for international travel.
