About The Position

As Network Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing & implementing data center networking architectures and configuring & optimizing network protocols. You'll ensure security of data and troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data center networking.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology (or related field), or equivalent Dot experience.
• 10+ years' experience in troubleshooting data center networks.
• Expertise in Cisco APIC and ACI products and technologies.
• Understanding of network protocols, including routing and switching.
• Administering IP networks in a near zero downtime environment.
• DNS/DHCP technologies.
• Troubleshooting network issues & building VPN.
• Using SNMP based monitoring software.
• Administering Firewall Platforms (F5 ASM, Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, or equivalent).

Nice To Haves

• Desired Certifications: CCNA, CCNP.
• Prior NOC Experience.
• SD-WAN Experience.
• Cloud Design and Implementation experience.
• 802.11x Experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor network links for LAN/WAN, monitor performance/tuning, ensure capacity planning is performed, and proactively assess and make recommendations for improvement.
• Understand networking protocols and technologies, including routing, switching, and load balancing.
• Install, configure, and maintain routers and switches.
• Develop and maintain documentation regarding network configurations, operating procedures, and service records relating to network hardware and software.
• Assist in knowledge transfer and training staff in implementations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and support of LAN/WAN.
• Apply lean thinking and tools to identify and eliminate waste in all areas of the position.
