About The Position

We are seeking a Network Engineer for a contract position in Memphis with a duration of 12 months. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in various computer operating systems and telecommunication environments, as well as a strong background in networking technologies.

Requirements

• 5+ years of extensive experience with TCP/IP and WAN/LAN technologies.
• 5+ years of extensive experience with static and dynamic routing technologies.
• 5+ years of extensive knowledge of enterprise level Cisco switches.
• 3+ years of extensive experience developing processes and documentation to comply with national data security standards.
• 3+ years of experience with stateful inspection firewall technologies including configuring, deploying and managing access list rules.
• 3+ years of experience with Intruder Detection/Prevention Systems.
• 2+ years of experience with supporting site-to-site (IPsec) VPN tunnels.
• Fundamental knowledge of DNS, remote access solutions, application programming, and directory services.
• 2+ years of recent hands-on configuration and troubleshooting of network hardware such as switches and firewalls.

Responsibilities

• Work in multiple computer operating systems and telecommunication environments.
• Utilize TCP/IP and WAN/LAN technologies.
• Implement static and dynamic routing technologies.
• Manage enterprise level Cisco switches.
• Develop processes and documentation to comply with national data security standards.
• Configure, deploy, and manage stateful inspection firewall technologies and access list rules.
• Manage Intruder Detection/Prevention Systems.
• Support site-to-site (IPsec) VPN tunnels.
• Apply fundamental knowledge of DNS, remote access solutions, application programming, and directory services.
• Perform hands-on configuration and troubleshooting of network hardware such as switches and firewalls.
