About The Position

As a Network Engineer with CyberPoint, you will provide significant knowledge and engineering skill in networking, cyber security and protection. You will build, maintain, and troubleshoot network services. You will act as a technical project leader or provide work leadership for junior employees. The network engineer also monitors the market for changes in routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices and network security threat information, and provides advice to customers on new technologies and mitigations to evolving threat.

Requirements

• 5+ years experience/background in system (Windows, Linux and Solaris) and network administration.
• 5+ years experience with and knowledge of network protocols, network routing devices, computer security devices, security architectures, methodologies, and tools.
• 5+ years experience with and knowledge of network security concepts and configuration.
• 2+ years of experience with network Certification and Accreditation.
• Proven experience with SVN.
• Proven experience with VMWare, Virtual Box and enterprise virtualization services.
• Technical writing skills sufficient to accurately describe lab design, tool usage, and tool testing procedures.
• An active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance is required.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience leading tasks and/or mentoring junior staff.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, information systems, or related technical degree.
• One or more of the following certifications: RHCSA or RHCE, CEH, CCNA, CISSP.
