Perform network engineering and administration functions associated with the Network Operations Center and Information Technology/Information Management department. Generate/provide status reports, provide network anomaly analysis, and develop engineering redlines as needed to support network maintenance actions, engineering changes/upgrades, and security vulnerabilities. Provide technical analysis in data network planning, systems administration, engineering, and design, using implementation techniques and tools for the most efficient solution to network problems. Use Remedy software to track and provide customer support via work order, change requests and incidents. Develop comprehensive and detailed drawings, using Microsoft Visio, to document end-to-end circuit path for maintaining both Wide-Area networks (WANs) and Local-Area networks (LANs). Use DSX equipment panels and associated wiring Fiber optics cabling, connectors and termination techniques, metallic cabling, connectors and termination techniques. Follow documented processes and procedures and provide feedback to update as necessary. Provide on call support for various infrastructure issues for VIP/ Senior Management support. Must be willing, and able, to travel regionally to support various IC driven projects and troubleshooting. Other duties as assigned.
