About The Position

This position requires an active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain Top Secret clearance. This Lockheed Martin Information Systems Analyst position will support military Space Programs. This position receives day-to-day operations guidance from program staff and will report to the LM IS SWFLANT IT OPS Manager. This is an onsite role, working a 9x80 schedule (every other Friday off!!!). Requirements

  • US Citizenship required at this facility
  • 3+ years of Network Engineering experience (i.e. design, implementation, troubleshooting of complex network infrastructure)
  • Active Secret Clearance with ability and willingness to obtain Top Secret
  • Active CCNA (or higher) Cisco certification
  • Expertise in designing LAN, WAN, and data center networks
  • Deep knowledge of OSI, TCP/IP Models, Layer 2/3 technologies (VLAN, OSPF, BGP), and hands-on experience with Cisco hardware
  • Familiarity with one or more of the following: DISA STIGs, COMSEC, and/or TACLANEs
  • Strong network traffic analysis, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills
  • Functional understanding of Splunk for data collection, real-time monitoring, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis
  • Understanding of advanced DNS concepts

Nice To Haves

  • Implementation and configuration of firewalls (Palo Alto preferred)
  • Understanding of virtualization technologies (i.e. VMware, vSAN)
  • Experience with Cloud Networking Infrastructure
  • Experience with network automation tools such as Ansible
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, Agile / Scrum environment
  • Proficient with Microsoft PowerPoint and Visio
  • Familiarity with installation and configuration of Big-IP (F5)
  • Active Top Secret Clearance

Responsibilities

  • Designing, implementing, and maintaining our server infrastructure, including hardware, software, and network components
  • Ensuring the security, integrity, and availability of our servers and data
  • Providing technical leadership and guidance to junior team members
  • Collaborating with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration and support of business applications
  • Developing and implementing disaster recovery and business continuity plans
  • Staying up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies to continuously improve our server infrastructure
