About The Position

Ensure the operation of Local Area Network (LAN and) Wide Area Network (WAN), including the infrastructure and associated software/applications. Works on mid-level problems surrounding the design, planning, installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting and optimizing all hardware and software. Works within the global concepts set forth by the company.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant, hands-on experience in networking and infrastructure
  • Strong technical expertise in LAN and WAN technologies, including multi-vendor network operating systems (e.g., IOS, HP OS)
  • In-depth knowledge of network topologies (MPLS, Ethernet, Fiber Optics) and protocols (TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP)
  • Experience with network security and routing technologies, including firewalls and IPsec
  • Proven experience installing, configuring, monitoring, troubleshooting, and supporting network components in both LAN and WAN environments
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks effectively in high-pressure environments
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred certifications: Cisco certifications such as CCIE or equivalent

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and analyze network availability, user access, and permissions across LAN and WAN environments; troubleshoot issues identified through monitoring tools or reported by users. Participate in on-call support rotation.
  • Ensure continuous monitoring of network components to maintain high availability, including executing backup, recovery, and emergency procedures.
  • Coordinate and implement network migrations, including infrastructure updates and associated software deployments (e.g., version upgrades, service packs, firmware, and hotfixes).
  • Design, install, and configure mid-level network solutions following global standards, including high-availability setups and complex installations.
  • Participate in global and regional initiatives such as security audits, change management, incident management, asset management, and operational activities.
  • Manage network assets, including maintaining accurate inventory records, documentation, and technical specifications.
  • Adhere to all Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and ensure timely and effective service delivery to customers.
