As a Network Engineer Senior – TS/SCI required, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful supporting the mission of US Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM). You will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and support of an organization’s local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), Agency Internet Network (AIN), Intranet and Internet, and other data communications systems or a segment of a network system. Your role includes maintaining network hardware and software, monitoring network availability, and performing necessary maintenance to support network availability. You may supervise other network support and client server specialists and plan, coordinate, and implement network security measures. Additionally, you will provide leadership and mentorship to junior and mid-level network engineers. You will oversee the network control center, provide support to projects involving networks, and perform a full range of complex network designs encompassing multiple technologies within a single network. You will evaluate new network technologies and make recommendations to project managers regarding their integration into the existing network. Your responsibilities will also include planning new configurations for integration into the network, ensuring effective integration and optimal network performance, and providing support in translating business requirements into telecommunications requirements.

  • Minimum of CCNA to start and CCNP within 180 days of start date.
  • CCNP certification preferred on day one.
  • Experience in mitigating risks and managing large scale, integrated projects.
  • Experience in reviewing and approving network engineering documentation.
