About The Position

Mayvin is currently seeking experienced applicants for a Network Engineer Principal - Technical Surveillance Countermeasures (TSCM) that will support USSOCOM at Fort Bragg, NC. TSCM engineers maintain continuous dialogue with the Inter-agency Training Center to conduct technical exchanges and to assist transfer of capabilities, technologies, techniques, and best practices to field units. Must be a U.S. Citizen Must have an active Top Secret clearance Provide TSCM expertise, deployment planning and execution of TSCM missions both CONUS and OCONUS Prepare and present classroom lectures, conduct practical laboratory exercises and tutoring and skills testing Complete at a minimum, 80 hours of advanced training per annum and provide new equipment evaluations (OT&E) and TTP's to supported units Conduct full range of complex and sensitive technical operations. Provide expertise in detecting and nullifying a wide variety of technologies used to obtain unauthorized access to classified information, isolate threats, and educate peers and leadership regarding such threats Familiarity with intrusion detection systems and devises, safes, and other storage containers, locks and locking systems, personnel entry control systems and physical barriers. Perform responsibilities for determining, recommending, and evaluating alarm systems Research and evaluate building construction, physical security measures, intrusion detection systems and recommending protective and preventive actions for the protection of classified information Provide mobile training, technical advisement, and assistance on all aspects of TSCM and Technical Threat Awareness Providing research services and advising program office personnel on national and international developments in commercial, state-of-the-art, technical security technology

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Must have an active Top Secret clearance
  • Certification by the Interagency Training Center (ITC) in the conduct of Technical Surveillance Countermeasures (TSCM) is required
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience required. 5 years of experience or more desired
  • A strong cyber security background
  • Proven ability to work autonomously and to deliver concise executive-level reports and presentations
  • Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing
  • Ability to read and understand design plans for the purpose of identifying and implementing technical security upgrades
  • Ability to provide guidance regarding security measures and requirements based on applicable physical and technical security standards
  • Good interpersonal and presentation skills for interacting with military personnel, federal civilians, other contractors and company management

  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Must meet minimum physical qualifications for this position as identified in DoD Instruction 5240.05
  • Prepared and able to support travel requirements, CONUS and OCONUS - 25% travel required

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred
  • Experience with the military is preferred
