About The Position

Network Engineer, Lead The Opportunity: A well-designed network is critical to move data and enable Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Community (IC) organizations to achieve their missions, but how can an organization make sure their network will fit their evolving needs? Crafting the right network, with the right equipment, software, and architecture, requires a combination of advanced technical skill, mission understanding, and strategic foresight. That’s why we need a seasoned senior network engineer like you who knows how to develop, secure, and modernize the exact network infrastructure the DoD and IC depend on to accomplish their missions worldwide. As a senior network engineer on our team, you’ll leverage your experience in enterprise network design and architecture, system interoperability, OSI and network transport layers, multi-protocol label switching (MPLS), border gateway protocol (BGP), and virtual routing and forwarding (VRF) to strengthen the nation’s defense posture and enable real-time collaboration across secure domains. You’ll engineer, upgrade, and optimize enterprise-wide infrastructure, troubleshoot and resolve complex routing and performance issues, conduct architecture analyses, and implement high-availability designs to enhance security, reliability, and mission readiness for national systems supporting multiple CONUS locations. You’ll apply your expertise in advanced routing and switching, integration of encryption and key management devices, network architecture design, IP engineering, segmentation, and network transport optimization as you lead and mentor engineers across multiple enclaves—helping the DoD and IC evolve and deploy next-generation capabilities that enhance secure communications, accelerate mission execution, and strengthen cyber resilience. Your knowledge of network protocols, Cisco and Palo Alto enterprise technologies, emerging cloud-based architectures, and hybrid network configurations will be vital as you drive modernization efforts and optimize client operations. Leveraging your experience in cryptographic integration, key management, Cisco ISE, software-defined networking (SDN), firewall configuration, VMWare virtual networking, SolarWinds enterprise monitoring, and optical transport systems, you’ll act as a trusted technical advisor to mission stakeholders, ensuring engineering rigor, compliance with RMF and NIST 800-53 controls, and sustained operational excellence across sensitive environments. Advance your career with us as we help modernize and defend the DoD and Intelligence Community’s secure network infrastructure, enabling warfighters, analysts, and decision-makers to operate, collaborate, and protect national interests with confidence. Join us. The world can’t wait.
