As a Network Engineer on our team, you’ll work with the Program Management Office to provide network architecture design and system operational support to other systems, establish requirements, develop and evaluate technical solutions and architecture designs, and perform solutions analyses. You will analyze the design of an enterprise migration and implementation plan for data centers, remote access connections, cross-domain solutions, network ports, protocols, and services configurations while meeting current network requirements. Additionally, you will provide Tier III network support while maintaining responsibility for analyzing and developing solutions for networking issues by monitoring all operational communications systems and circuits, direct troubleshooting, and restoring all actions for unscheduled outages. You will analyze network activity and performance to identify potential network issues and inefficiencies and develop and implement automated configuration management software solutions, including automated configuration management, software defined wide area networking, and White Box networking solutions for a reliable network to support global critical missions. You’ll collaborate with SMEs in cybersecurity, engineering, quality assurance, and operations to learn the strategic goals and operational needs that shape the network requirements. You’ll then share your expertise during the planning of acquisition, installation, configuration, and maintenance of the network components. From resolving interoperability issues across platforms to supporting the acquisition of hardware, you’ll put your hardware and software talents to good use.
