About The Position

As a Network Engineer IV at ISG Technology, you will be responsible for resolving escalated break/fix support tickets and small projects across various disciplines including Routing & Switching, Data Center, Wireless, Security, and Collaboration. This role requires broad technical expertise and the ability to provide remote technical assistance as needed. You will communicate professionally across different internal and external organization levels, maintaining primary working relationships with Sales, Service Delivery, and other groups within ISG, as well as interacting directly with ISG customers. Additionally, you will collaborate with vendors to stay current with new technologies and capabilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred or Associates Degree with equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 8+ years of experience working with network environments.
  • Working knowledge in Routing & Switching, Data Center, Wireless, Security, and Collaboration technologies.
  • Familiarity with Cisco, Meraki, Aruba products, and network analysis tools.
  • Competency with Visio.
  • Valid driver’s license with a driving record that meets ISG’s insurance criteria.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Cisco Unified Communications Manager.
  • Experience with Microsoft Teams Calling.

Responsibilities

  • Resolve escalated break/fix support tickets and small projects.
  • Provide technical expertise across Routing & Switching, Data Center, Wireless, Security, and Collaboration.
  • Communicate and present objectives verbally and in writing to various audiences.
  • Create and implement detailed action plans.
  • Manage and prioritize complex workloads in a technical environment.
  • Complete ConnectWise data entry accurately and timely.
  • Collaborate with Senior and Lead Network Engineers for solutions.
  • Participate in team training programs.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with vendors.
  • Provide break/fix support to ISG customers.
  • Participate in Service Desk overflow calls as required.
  • Provide technical guidance on scopes of work and create/maintain client documentation.
  • Maintain responsibility for managed services onboarding and ongoing support.
  • Participate in after-hours on-call support rotation.
  • Travel to client sites and/or data center sites as required.
