About The Position
TEKsystems is partnering with a client in Seattle, WA to hire an experienced Network Engineer to support the design, deployment, and automation of a large‑scale, mission‑critical network environment. The ideal candidate has strong IP networking fundamentals with deep, hands-on expertise in BGP, OSPF, and major Cisco routing platforms including the 37xx, 49xx, 65xx, 73xx, and 76xx series. This role focuses on ensuring high network reliability while developing scalable automation solutions to support rapid organizational growth. Candidates should have exceptional troubleshooting abilities and experience with technologies such as IPv4/IPv6, VPNs, Linux, Python, and core routing/switching protocols. The position requires a highly autonomous engineer who thrives in fast‑paced, collaborative environments and consistently delivers simple, scalable network solutions.
Requirements
- IP networking fundamentals
- Expertise in BGP, OSPF, and major Cisco routing platforms including the 37xx, 49xx, 65xx, 73xx, and 76xx series
- Experience with technologies such as IPv4/IPv6, VPNs, Linux, Python, and core routing/switching protocols
