We are currently seeking a Network Engineer / Information System Security Manager (ISSM) to join our team. In this role, you will provide hands-on network engineering services—from configuration and network management to architectural design, security planning, and advanced troubleshooting. You will also deliver Tier 2 and 3 support and end-user assistance, while training to serve as both Network Engineer and ISSM. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a cross-functional team driving innovation through applied science and engineering.

  • Assist with design, installation, configuration and maintenance network systems
  • Design and implement network security architectures to fortify the overall security of network environments
  • Work on a cross functional team to address and resolve Tier 2 and 3 help desk tickets
  • Review and maintain classified computer systems to ensure compliance with all government security requirements
  • Draft security plans, operating procedures, and other security related policies and procedures
  • Perform network security checks and follow Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)
  • Work with the corporate FSO to ensure that the overall security posture of the organization is within industry accepted practices
  • Work on improving current network environment and make recommendations for modifications to enhance security and operational posture
  • Other related duties as assigned
  • Associate Degree in Computer Science or Computer Technical Certificate (MSCE or GAIC certificate) or equivalent related experience
  • Two years' network administration experience required
  • Windows and Linux (Ubuntu) experience required
  • Have taken college-level coursework or comparable in network administration
  • Demonstrated knowledge and skills designing and managing networks, cyber-security, network troubleshooting, required
  • Analytical ability to understand and interpret Department of Defense (DoD) and company security policies and procedures
  • Substantial communication skills to advise customers of DoD and company industrial security policies and procedures
  • Must have an active security clearance or be eligible for security clearance
