Currently we have an immediate need to add an experienced: As a Network Engineer (ISSE), you will serve an important role leading the Assessment & Authorization process under a new risk management framework for newly architected and newly updated information systems. You will create, plan, and lead the process of technology insertion by keeping up with and incorporating new technologies and capabilities such as encryption, transport, networking, and routing. The appropriate candidate should have experience with the following:

Requirements

  • Must maintain active/current TS/SCI with a polygraph clearance.
  • 10+ of experience with Network Engineering, and a BA or BS in a relevant field.
  • Demonstrated experience reviewing assessment reports and assisting projects in identifying security risks.
  • Experience (both technical and non-technical) in developing effective mitigation strategies, such as Plans of Action and Milestones (POAMs).
  • Experience assisting projects in determining their security requirements by analyzing the business needs and evaluating industry offerings to identify products that meet said security requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience providing security reviews and approvals for changes to accredited systems, such as the instillation of new software and opening network ports, network architecture concepts, etc.
  • Experience providing recommendations for security approval for external devices being added on-site, as well as working with the incident team to resolve cyber incidents.
  • Demonstrated experience providing input to improve processes by recording lessons learned, creating standard operating procedures, and ensuring all products and administrative documentation is maintained and completed.
