Requirements

  • Enrolled as a junior or senior in an undergraduate degree program in networking, computer science, engineering, or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of networking concepts and protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF, and QoS.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, technical environment.
  • Interest in learning about network engineering, Meraki, FortiNet solutions, and related technologies.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development of network rollouts, projects, and documentation for assigned accounts, specifically for Meraki and FortiNet solutions.
  • Act as an escalation point for customer solutions related to Meraki and/or FortiNet technologies.
  • Support the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and usage coordination of Meraki and/or FortiNet technologies.
  • Ensure adherence to configuration and change management policies when making updates to Meraki and FortiNet network infrastructure.
  • Provide engineering support for network design, performance tuning, and monitoring of Meraki and/or FortiNet solutions.
  • Assist in managing network incidents and outage escalation from the SageNet NOC.
  • Collaborate with other teams (CIM, Test & Turn Up, Customer Service & Support, etc.) to design and conduct project training programs focused on Meraki and FortiNet products.
  • Create and maintain network documentation, including diagrams and troubleshooting methods using provided tools.
  • Gain exposure to advanced networking protocols such as SD-WAN, DMVPN, IPSEC, BGP, MPLS, and more.
  • Assist with monitoring network diagnostics, analytics tools, and performance data.
