The Network Engineer Intern will report into the Sr. Manager of IT who oversees the Network team . This team is responsible for maintaining and administering the company's corporate and store networks . The intern will learn a strong understanding of network infrastructure and will gain exposure to implementing, administering, and troubleshooting network devices including routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points, and load balancers.

Requirements

  • Major in Computer Science, Information Systems or Engineering is preferred
  • Experience with the following applications and systems are preferred: Cisco Switches, Routers, and Firewalls. AWS Cloud Services. Cisco/Meraki MX appliances and MR wireless access points. Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) for network authentication and device administration. F5 Big-Ip load balancers. SolarWinds and ThousandEyes monitoring platforms.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Ability to act independently to resolve problems
  • Must show a sense of urgency, being able to perform and multitask under pressure
  • Proven ability to transfer knowledge and stay aware of current trends and technical advancements
  • Ability to articulate and present different points-of-views on various technologies
  • Time management skills as well as the ability to be flexible and creative
  • Junior or senior (Class of 202 6 and 202 7 )
  • Master's students not eligible
  • Resume and portfolio ( portfolios only need ed for Design Applications )
  • Available June 1, 2026 - August 7, 2026

Responsibilities

  • Designing and implementing new network solutions
  • Maximizing network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting
  • Arranging scheduled upgrades
  • Investigating faults in the network
  • Reporting network status to key stakeholders
  • Exposure to an on-call rotation
