About The Position
The Network Engineer will provide network architectural design, modeling, engineering, implementation, sustainment, migration, technical refresh, and lifecycle services for the DISA Datacenter and Cloud enterprise network infrastructure. The role involves supporting various network services and products, including routers, switches, firewalls, web application firewalls, DNS, email gateways, proxy services, VPN, Local Area Network (LAN), Wide Area Network (WAN), and protocols, as well as cryptographic devices and associated software. The contractor will also support Intrusion and Detection Systems (IDS) and other network defense architectures in support of cyber defense operations and initiatives. Responsibilities include providing design solutions, implementation guides, and ensuring compliance with security controls and guidelines.
