Our Core Engineering department is seeking a Network Engineer to join our Infrastructure Operations team in New York.

Requirements

  • 3-4 years of experience in Networking and Cloud technologies
  • Deep, hands-on knowledge of Arista EOS and Cisco NX-OS/IOS
  • Familiarity with Cumulus Linux or other open-networking platforms
  • Knowledge of configuration and troubleshooting of BGP and OSPF. Experience with MSDP and PIM for managing complex multicast topologies
  • Knowledge and exposure to multicast environments, specifically optimized for the delivery of market data where latency is critical
  • Technical proficiency in network overlay technologies (VXLAN or EVPN)
  • Knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware, KVM, Proxmox) and their integration with physical network resources, underpinned by a strong grasp of client-server architecture.
  • Experience in VPN configuration, tunnel troubleshooting, and maintaining secure encrypted pathways
  • Knowledge of modern data center installation standards
  • Experience with SNMP-based tools (Nagios, Graphite, MRTG)
  • Knowledge of infrastructure automation tools using Python
  • Experience with Netmiko, Napalm, or Nornir network technologies
  • Experience with Ansible, Salt, and templating tools similar to CUE or Jinja
  • Knowledge of DCIM/IPAM tools similar to Netbox or Nautobot
  • Experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, and/or Alicloud
  • Knowledge of VPCs, Transit Gateways, Internet Gateways (IGWs), and Cloud Native Security
  • Open to participate in an on-call rotation to support 24/7
  • Ability to liaise with third-party vendors for telecommunication circuits

Nice To Haves

  • CCNP certification (or equivalent) is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with the global team to monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize high-frequency trading network
  • Providing technical expertise for production data centers, corporate offices, and research lab environments
  • Designing and supporting cloud-native networking solutions and hybrid-cloud integrations
  • Managing market connectivity tests, circuit migrations, and data center implementations
  • Conducting configuration reviews and audits to ensure the stability and security of the trading environment
  • Performing moves, adds, and changes (MACs) for both physical and logical network components
