The Work As a primary Network Development Engineer for the C2BMC program, you will plan, deploy, integrate, and test network upgrades across operational sites. Working within an agile scrum team, you’ll translate customer requirements and contractual obligations into actionable tasks, travel to remote locations (e.g., Schriever SFB, Alaska, Guam, Europe) to lead installations, troubleshoot issues independently, and keep program personnel informed of status and outcomes. Please Note: - This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a US Citizen for consideration. - This position is based at a Lockheed Martin facility in Colorado Springs, CO. The role requires flexibility to travel to alternate work locations as needed. Together, this national team supports the design, development, test, integration and fielding of hardware and software elements that enable the Missile Defense System (MDS) to function effectively and continually. You will also have the opportunity to interface with our key customers in the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) . C2BMC|Lockheed Martin Who You Are You are a proven mid‑level network engineer with solid hands‑on experience in network design, development, and testing. You understand the OSI model, TCP/IP, BGP and OSPF, and possess strong traffic‑analysis and troubleshooting skills. You are comfortable with multi‑vendor firewalls (Juniper, Fortinet, Palo Alto), multicast, VLANs, GRE tunnels, and optical transport technologies, and you thrive in collaborative, fast‑paced agile environments.
