Our client is currently seeking a Network Engineer - III to support the Core Network Engineering team with responsibilities in the South Central and South East Markets. This position requires strong experience with Leaf-and-Spine network fabric leveraging Cisco and Nokia SR-OS. The successful candidate will assist and perform engineering responsibilities integrating the network fabric comprised of Leaf-and-Spine architecture. You will work closely with the Capacity Planning, Design, and Operations teams to implement strategic technology goals and transition to the eNSE network fabric platform. Additionally, you will support strategic technology goals including the ongoing migration of core elements to eNSE and the onboarding of Virtual Network Functions (VNFs). Collaboration with existing team members is essential to meet team goals. In this role, you will develop network configurations from design models and templates, ensuring that new networks are built, migrated, and decommissioned effectively. You will also be responsible for building networks for interconnection to Cloud Platforms to facilitate growth, capacity, and expansion. Working with underlay and overlay controllers for network creation, modeling, and deployments will be a key part of your responsibilities, leveraging plugins for network deployments across multiple virtualized operating system environments. The position requires engineering network solutions and the ability to work independently while maintaining strong interactions with application teams.
