About The Position

About the team: This specialized team manages and secures dedicated networks and platforms supporting Information Security Operations, development, and forensic labs across multiple sites. They ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of technical environments to enable threat detection, incident response, vulnerability analysis, and digital forensics. The team designs and maintains secure network segments and isolated environments, supporting sensitive investigations and advanced security research. Collaborating with leadership, security operations, development, and forensic specialists, they provide the essential infrastructure that underpins effective and timely security operations, safeguarding the organization from cyber threats and supporting critical activities wherever required.

Requirements

  • Proven expertise in network design, including architectural blueprint development and advanced routing, addressing, and security protocols.
  • Strong knowledge of network security principles, vulnerability scanning, and threat modeling to safeguard information systems.
  • Experience with risk management frameworks and implementation of security controls in complex network environments.
  • Proficiency in network monitoring, alerting tools, and performance metrics to ensure system reliability and adherence to SLAs.
  • Ability to analyze and resolve network issues efficiently, applying escalation protocols and root cause investigation.
  • Familiarity with coding standards and automation scripting to support network operations and security compliance.
  • Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, information systems, cybersecurity, or related area and 2years’ experience in network engineering or related area at a technology, retail, or data-driven company.
  • Option 2: 4 years’ experience in network engineering or related area at a technology, retail, or data-driven company.

  • Certification in Security+, GISF, GSEC, CISA, CISSP, or CCSP
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related area

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and document network requirements, ensuring alignment with business and technical needs.
  • Design and develop secure network architectures, incorporating industry standards and best practices.
  • Monitor network performance using established metrics and tools to maintain optimal availability and reliability.
  • Develop and execute network maintenance plans, addressing faults and implementing enhancements within design scope.
  • Investigate and resolve network incidents promptly, adhering to defined service level agreements.
  • Create and maintain traceability matrices linking requirements, design, and testing for agile delivery.
  • Build automation scripts and implement telemetry to support continuous integration and security compliance.
  • As needed, support applicable software platforms or infrastructure.
  • Support network security and BC/DR activities
