As a Network Engineer, your role is to ensure the stability and integrity of voice, data, and video network services. This is achieved by designing system configuration, directing system installation, and performing routine upgrades. Associate will maximize network performance by troubleshooting problems and outages with internal employees, customers, and vendors. Associate is responsible for applying in-depth knowledge of the network and networking protocols along with excellent communication skills in order to perform in-depth troubleshooting of all issues that arise. The primary function is to perform escalated network repair, execute tactical projects, and own overall network troubleshooting once alerted by the NOC of such events.

  • Design, provision, troubleshoot, and maintain customer services.
  • Test new hardware and software in LAB environment.
  • Deploy hardware and software upgrades to existing network elements.
  • Create and maintain documentation as it relates to network configuration, network mapping, processes, and service records.
  • Practice network asset management, including maintenance of network component inventory and related documentation and technical specifications information.
  • Manage multiple conflicting priorities & consistently meet deadlines.
  • Identify trends and problems.
  • Strive to make a difference through continued self-improvement.
  • Manage vendor service delivery and due dates.
  • Works with vendors to determine root cause and chronic issues. Creates and implements corrective action plans to address issues.
  • Associates Degree
  • 5 years of experience in Service Provider Engineering or related field.
  • Possess/maintain a valid driver's license
