As a Network Engineer, a typical day will include the following duties: Managing computer network equipment and services. Also responsible for system administration of computers on network. Responsible for managing computer networks and network services: Design and document network architecture. Configure routers and managed switches. Install, configure and manage network services including LDAP, DHCP, DNS, File Servers, and License Servers. Perform daily oversight. Responsible for computer system administration: Perform installation, configuration, and management of Windows and Linux based computer systems. Install vendor software patches. Update software repositories. Perform data backups and restorations. Provide end user support. Perform daily oversight. Experience with network and system security: Manage user accounts and accesses. Perform vulnerability scans and report results. Perform system software patches and updates. Maintain system security plans. Interface with security personnel.
Requirements
- US Citizen
- Active/current TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance
