Located in Colorado Springs, CO, this role is vital in supporting the U.S. President, the Secretary of Defense, and combatant commanders at strategic, regional, and operational levels. This position does not provide relocation assistance and requires on-site work with no remote options. Position Overview: The Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) program is the central part of the Missile Defense System. It is a crucial operational system that allows the U.S. president, secretary of defense, and combatant commanders at strategic, regional, and operational levels to plan missile defense operations systematically, track battle developments, and actively coordinate networked sensors and weapons systems to achieve both global and regional mission objectives. C2BMC supports a layered missile defense capability that provides an optimized response to threats across all ranges and phases of flight. It acts as a force multiplier by connecting, integrating, and synchronizing autonomous sensor and weapon systems and operations worldwide and regionally to enhance performance. C2BMC is vital in all ground and flight tests that verify and demonstrate the current and future capabilities of the missile defense system. The candidate will serve as a primary Network Engineer supporting the C2BMC Program. In this role, they will act as both a Network Engineer and Developer, assisting with network build-out and deployments into the operational environment as needed. The candidate will collaborate within an agile Scrum team and plan work based on customer requirements and program contractual agreements.
