This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise network infrastructure. They work with a team of engineers to ensure network performance, security, and reliability. This role also troubleshoots network issues and provides technical support to end-users visiting in person the plants/offices or remotely. They may also be responsible for researching and recommending new network technologies and solutions to improve network efficiency and performance. This role involves configuring and installing of switches access points, managing core network services, performing hardware replacements, and supporting day-to-day LAN and WLAN operations across office and CoLo data center environments.

  • Support on implementation of enterprise LAN, Wireless, SDWAN and Security solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network issues in person or remotely using ITIL methodology.
  • Perform network maintenance and upgrades in person or remotely by conduction rack-and-stack, configuration, cabling and RMAs.
  • Ensure IT/OT network security and compliance.
  • Provide technical support to end-users and participate in on-call rotation for network support.
  • Collaborate with other IT Infrastructure areas to provide on-site support and troubleshoot for computers, printers, mobile and videoconference equipment when required.
  • Participate in network planning and budgeting.
  • Assist in the development of network policies, SOPs, network diagrams and maintain an accurate CMDB inventory.
  • Monitor network performance and capacity.
  • 3-5 years experience as a Network Engineer, preferably in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of networking principles, protocols, and technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, IPAM, NTP, NAC, routing, switching, etc.)
  • Strong experience with Cisco switches/routers, Aruba Wireless access points and controllers, Clear Pass, F5 load balancers, network design, implementation, and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with SDWAN, Firewalls solutions and best practices.
  • Proficiency in network monitoring and management tools (e.g., Logic Monitor, Wireshark, IPAM BlueCat).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% for on-site support and installations.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
