We are actively seeking a Network Engineer with a current TS/SCI clearance and polygraph to join our Network Services Division in Herndon, VA. The qualified individual will have a minimum of 16 years' experience with a Bachelor's Degree (14 years' with a Master's) in one or more of the disciplines described below where specific skills may include the following…

  • In-depth knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc)
  • Understanding of network architecture, design, and implementation
  • Experience with network security, including firewalls, VPNs, and access control lists (ACLs)
  • Familiarity with cloud computing (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.)
  • Familiarity with network virtualization and software defined networking (SDN)
  • Adept in network engineering, with focus on design, implementation, and management of complex networks.
  • Experience with network architecture, design, and implementation in a large-scale environment.
  • Proven track record of successfully resolving complex network issues and improving network performance.
  • Ability to provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
  • Experience with creating technical documentation, such as design documents, implementation plans and technical notes
  • Minimum of 16 years' experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 14 years' with a Master's
  • In-depth knowledge of specific network technologies such as routing and switching, network security, cloud networking, and software-defined networking
  • Skills in network protocols including routing protocols such as EIGRP, BGP, and switching protocols such as STP, LACP, VTP
  • CompTIA Network+ or equivalent certification
  • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or CCIE Cisco Certified Internetwork
  • Juniper Networks Certified Internet Associate (JNCIA) or Juniper Networks Certified Internet Professional (JNCIP)
  • Amazon Web Services (AWS) Certified Solutions Architect - Associate or Professional
