Amazon Leo is Amazon’s low Earth orbit satellite broadband network. Its mission is to deliver fast, reliable internet to customers and communities around the world, and we’ve designed the system with the capacity, flexibility, and performance to serve a wide range of customers, from individual households to schools, hospitals, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations operating in locations without reliable connectivity. As a Network Development Engineer (NDE), you will play a pivotal role in designing innovative network automation services. These services will be instrumental in monitoring, troubleshooting, and debugging the Kuiper Satellite Network. In this capacity, you will not only develop novel automation solutions but also actively participate in the on-call rotation, ensuring prompt and effective resolution of network issues. Additionally, you will be responsible for conducting extensive lab testing of both hardware and software components, as well as engaging in research and design activities to optimize the satellite network and ensure it meets the evolving needs of our customers.
