Requirements
- Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining a bachelor’s degree in Network Engineering or related STEM field with a conferral date within the last 24 months or an expected conferral date of March 2026 -September 2026
- OR a graduate of Skillstorm, WA2VETS, or MSSA with a conferral date on or after 9/1/25 AND either a Bachelor’s Degree in a Network/IT related field OR 4+ years of equivalent Network/IT experience
Nice To Haves
- CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, Cisco/CCNA, Linux (Redhat), Microsoft hardware (installation), AWS, or other industry relevant certifications
- Experience with networking technology (TCP/IP, subnetting, DNS and DHCP)
Responsibilities
- As a Network Engineer working at Amazon you will have end to end ownership (architecture/design/scale) of our current and newly developing networks
- Drive the scaling of our current network designs to meet the demand of our customers
- Work closely with our internal customers on new solutions, bringing them from concept to public launch
- Create and update our network standards and ensure that the network adheres to these standards
- Work closely with our automation teams to assist in defining our toolchain
- Drive operational excellence projects to improve network performance and reliability
- Troubleshoot complex problems and develop innovative solutions
- Work with a wide range of complex technologies
- Review and implement changes on the network
