About The Position

Support the design, deployment, and operations of a large-scale global Oracle cloud-computing environment. Develop and support network fabric and systems. Develop and implement solutions for network issues, safely executing network changes. Participate in network lifecycle management through network build and/or upgrade projects. May participate in network solution and architecture design process. Participate in operational rotations as either primary or secondary. Provide break-fix support for events and may serve as escalation point for event remediation. Provide root cause analysis as needed. Develop scripts to automate routine tasks for team. May support network vendor software bug fixes. May telecommute. Position requires: Routing, switching, and load balancers: Cisco Nexus 9300 and 9500, Cisco XR 5502 and 5504, Juniper MX and PTX, A10 Thunder 4400, and F5; Monitoring, troubleshooting, and proactive measurement of network environment using Solarwinds, Netvane, NetScout, Packet Capture, Infoblox, BGP, VLANS, OSPF, and VPC; Firewall fundamentals: ACLs, packet filtering, stateful inspection, zones, NATs, and application layer filtering; Troubleshooting network and hardware equipment: Ping and Traceroute, SolarWinds, physical link testing, Wireshark, 802.1X authentication, ARP, DNS, DHCP, and TCP; Network protocols: BGP, VLANS, OSPF, ARP, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, ACLs, and PBR; Scripting or network automation using Python, Linux, and Shell; Qualifications Disclaimer: Certain US customer or client-facing roles may be required to comply with applicable requirements, such as immunization and occupational health mandates. Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
  • 4 years of experience in the job offered or in a Network Developer 4-related occupation
  • Routing, switching, and load balancers: Cisco Nexus 9300 and 9500, Cisco XR 5502 and 5504, Juniper MX and PTX, A10 Thunder 4400, and F5

  • Network protocols: BGP, VLANS, OSPF, ARP, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, ACLs, and PBR
  • Scripting or network automation using Python, Linux, and Shell

  • Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position.
