As a Network Deployment Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and building new network environments that support critical business operations. You will manage network changes, troubleshoot issues using diagnostic tools, and coordinate with carriers and vendors for installations. Your contributions will directly impact the performance, scalability, and reliability of the organization’s network infrastructure. You will also support both routine changes and large-scale projects across data centers, trading floors, and branch networks.   • Design and implement network solutions by leveraging existing standards and deploying new technologies as required
  • Plan, document, and execute network changes across various environments
  • Troubleshoot network issues using diagnostic tools such as Wireshark and coordinate with vendors for resolution
  • Test and validate voice and data circuits, liaising with carriers for installations and upgrades
  • Support network deployments for new locations and global initiatives involving high-volume financial systems
  • Contribute to the rollout of new features and functionality across backbone, data center, and branch networks
  • Knowledge of routing protocols such as Open Shortest Path First (OSPF), Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (EIGRP), Border Gateway Protocol (BGP), and Routing Information Protocol (RIP)
  • Experience with network hardware including F5 load balancers, Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls
  • Familiarity with network security concepts including firewalls and proxy servers
  • Certified technical engineer (e.g., Cisco Certified Network Professional)
  • Hands-on experience in enterprise network environments, preferably within financial institutions
  • Understanding of Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) principles and service management practices
  • Operational knowledge of loop prevention protocols such as Spanning Tree Protocol
  • Experience with Internet Protocol Telephony (IPT) implementation and troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with Layer 2 protocols including Hot Standby Router Protocol (HSRP), Virtual Router Redundancy Protocol (VRRP), VLAN Trunking Protocol (VTP), IEEE 802.1Q, Flex Link, and Link Aggregation Control Protocol (LACP)
  • Proficiency in Cisco operating systems such as Internetwork Operating System (IOS) and Nexus Operating System (NX-OS)
