About The Position

Provides installation, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of enterprise network and voice infrastructure supporting Air Force missions.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship required
• Active TS/SCI eligibility required
• Baseline Certifications
• Proficiency in Microsoft Active Directory
• Microsoft Server 2008, or higher
• proficiency in VMWare 5.1or higher and VSphere Administration
• Networks proficiency in Cisco Network Routers and switches, advanced networking principles (routing, switching, OSI Reference Model), Air Force network configuration and operation
• DoD 8570 / 8140 compliant
• IAT Level II (Security+ CE preferred), current and verifiable

Nice To Haves

• CCNA (preferred)
• CCNP (highly desired)

Responsibilities

• Install, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot network backbone infrastructure.
• Support NIPRNet, SIPRNet, JWICS, NSANet, and Tier 1 networks.
• Maintain secure and non-secure transmission systems including fiber and copper media.
• Ensure telecom rooms meet engineering, safety, and operational standards.
• Manage routing and switching assets and maintain accurate configuration documentation.
• Configure and sustain voice systems and VoIP solutions.
• Design, install, document, and maintain cabling and protected distribution systems.
• Support VTC systems, conference room networks, and public address systems.
• Document all network changes and infrastructure modifications.
• Lead role provides task oversight and weekly reporting to Government leadership.
