About The Position

Sabre Systems is seeking a Network Architect to provide Engineering (Journeyman) support to the Strike Planning and Execution Systems Program Office (PMA-281) at Patuxent River Naval Air Station in Lexington Park, MD. The candidate will provide weapon system strategic & tactical networking & network architecture support to develop multi-level security communications solutions for the Theater Mission Planning Center (TMPC) and Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, and Intelligence (C5I) for Tomahawk missile with Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Allies & Partners. PMA-281 is responsible for the acquisition and life cycle management of a range of mission planning, control systems and execution tools that are developed and integrated in partnership with other NAVAIR program offices, other Services, and foreign nation customers/partners. This position is on-site work at the SECRET classification level but could potentially grow into TS/SCI.

Requirements

  • Must have a bachelor’s degree in a technical or scientific field from an accredited college or university.
  • Must have at least three (3) years of recent and relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in network engineering expertise is required.
  • Demonstrated experience in cross-domain multi-level security communications solutions is required.
  • Understanding of developing a strategic & tactical network architecture with Allies and Partner nations is required.
  • Understanding the design and development of software workflow is required.
  • Perform software requirements broken down into systems requirements and cryptographic requirements associated with partner nations.
  • Must have an active DoD Secret Clearance with ability to obtain and maintain a higher level if required.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Responsibilities

  • Perform Network Architecture functions combined with strong network engineering experience to develop strategic and tactical networking support to develop cross-domain multi-level security communications solutions for mission orders to Allies and Partners.
  • Perform programmatic or technical knowledge identifying, formulating, designing, and/or testing practical solutions to engineering problems; guiding the engineering development of modern complex systems; and employing systems engineering methods and tools in the development of systems.
  • Develop and generate Systems Security artifacts required to transfer technologies for Allies and Partner nations with FMS cases.
  • Perform software acquisition functions, requirements management, design and develop software workflow, and resolve cryptographic issues and specific challenges associated with non-FVEY partner nations.
  • Must be able to perform software requirements broken down into systems requirements.
