About The Position

The Network Architect will design, implement, and support enterprise-scale network architecture across on-premises and Azure cloud environments. This is a role requiring broad expertise across LAN, WAN, and cloud networking, with a strong focus on scalable design and operational impact across a large, distributed enterprise environment.

Requirements

  • Experience in enterprise networking or infrastructure roles
  • Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale network architectures
  • Strong hands-on expertise in LAN and WAN networking technologies
  • Experience working in a Cisco-based (CISCO shop) networking environment
  • Hands-on experience with cloud networking, particularly Microsoft Azure
  • Experience supporting large, geographically distributed environments with hundreds of locations
  • Strong understanding of network design principles, scalability, availability, and performance
  • Ability to evaluate and communicate the operational impact of technical decisions
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills across technical and business teams

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in manufacturing environments is considered an asset

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement enterprise network architectures across LAN, WAN, and Azure cloud environments
  • Provide hands-on technical leadership for network design, deployment, and modernization initiatives
  • Assess architectural decisions for operational impact, scalability, and long-term supportability
  • Support network initiatives across multiple geographically distributed locations
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, and operations teams to deliver integrated network solutions
  • Develop and maintain network architecture standards, diagrams, and documentation
  • Participate in technology selection, design reviews, and enterprise network roadmap planning
  • Troubleshoot complex network issues and guide root cause analysis and resolution
  • Create detailed implementation plans, schedules, and technical work estimates
  • Provide regular status updates, risk identification, and issue reporting to stakeholders
