About The Position

The Network and System Engineer will work on a dedicated large scale UK customer account providing several services including managed WAN services, internet services, hosted application services, OS/application expertise. The role involves varying aspects of: Maintaining day-to-day communications with the customer, engaging proactively with the customer to ensure satisfaction Working with network and UNIX/Linux systems technology to ensure continuity of critical operations during business hours Monitoring crucial performance indicators such as traffic levels, capacity, packet loss and latency Planning and implementing expansion of new points of presence Troubleshooting and diagnosing unexpected behaviours in deployed services Supporting the development and application of new technology About GTT GTT is a leading networking and security as a service provider for multinational organizations, simply and securely connecting people and machines to data and applications – anywhere in the world. Responsibilities

  • Maintaining day-to-day communications with the customer, engaging proactively with the customer to ensure satisfaction
