About The Position

As a Contracts Specialist at CNF Technologies, you will assist the Contracts Manager in representing and safeguarding the company's interests through effective management and communication of Federal Contracts, Subcontracts, Teaming Agreements, Purchase Orders, and Regulatory Compliance. Your responsibilities will include supporting the negotiation, review, and management of contracts, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations, and providing administrative and operational support to ensure the success of government and commercial contracting efforts.

Requirements

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to interact effectively with internal teams, customers, and external partners
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

  • Pursuit of the Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM) certification or equivalent contract management certification is encouraged
  • Experience in government contracting or procurement preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the management of contract activities to ensure compliance with contractual requirements, including FAR/DFAR and other applicable regulations.
  • Support the review of new contracts and contract modifications for conformity to proposal requirements, identifying and resolving discrepancies, preparing and executing acknowledgements, and maintaining associated documentation.
  • Assist in the negotiation of contracts, subcontracts, NDAs, and purchase orders, providing support in fact-finding, auditing, and responding to contract queries.
  • Proactively track program changes to ensure contract compliance and assist in preparing ad-hoc reports for executive management on contract performance, risks, and compliance status.
  • Research and interpret FAR and DFAR requirements in a timely manner, collaborating with the Contracts Manager to ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and company standards.
  • Collaborate with internal departments such as legal, finance, and operations to ensure contracts are executed correctly and align with business objectives.
