As a network exploitation professional, you know that understanding the adversaries' tactics, techniques, and procedures are crucial to producing the intel that enables the success of mission owners. At Booz Allen, you can apply your vulnerability analysis, network mapping, exploitation, defensive, and IT logging process experience to execute offensive cyber operations that inform our nation's most critical security missions. On our team, you'll be trusted to probe targets using the latest network-based analysis tools like Wireshark, XKEYSCORE, DataXplorer, Splunk, and other network analysis tools. Using your innate curiosity and technical expertise, you'll use available information to select attack vectors and match attack vectors to tools, capabilities, and mission intent. You'll guide government and law enforcement agencies by leveraging SIGINT combined with a variety of other disciplines to gain access and perform actions on the targeted network as required. In this role, you'll uncover previously unknown and emerging adversary capabilities that impact drive mission forward for a very demanding - and rewarding - customer. Requirements

5+ years of experience designing, engineering, administering, or analyzing wireless or wireline wide-area telecommunications networks
5+ years of experience applying analytic tools, such as DataXplorer, XKEYSCORE, Wireshark, and Splunk to modern telecommunications networks in order to answer client questions and drive operations
Knowledge of the OSI layer stack and how it is used in communications
Knowledge of layers 1 and 2 within the OSI model
Knowledge of technology and protocols, including modern optical transport networks that use dense-wave-division multiplexing and multi-protocol label switching
Knowledge of modern network management systems and network elements, including switches, routers, multiplexers, and wireless and wireline transport
TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
Associate's degree and 5+ years of experience in a network engineering, analysis, or administration field, or Bachelor's degree in a networking or telecommunications field and 3+ years of experience in a network engineering, analysis, or administration field

Nice To Haves

Ability to teach and mentor junior analysts in telecommunications and networking fundamentals
Master's degree in Telecommunications, Networking, or a related field
CISSP, Network+, Security+, or similar certifications
