We have a great opportunity for a Network Analyst II located in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania! This position will be responsible for planning, implementing, maintenance, and support for all aspects of the Essential Utilities IT and OT Data Networks.

Requirements

  • Technical proficiency in enterprise data networks, network devices lifecycle management, data network troubleshooting and incident resolution experience.
  • Layer 2 switching implementation and troubleshooting experience; layer 3 routing implementation and troubleshooting experience.
  • Ability to provide supporting documentation for network change controls.
  • Test plan, implementation plan, verification plan, and back out plan.
  • Excellent customer service and problem resolution skills of moderate difficulty.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and listening).
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Ability to work independently and on multiple tasks.
  • 3+ years' experience and HS Diploma required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Palo Alto Panorama and firewalls, Global Protect and LSVPN.
  • Experience with F5 load balancers.
  • Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity or Engineering preferred.
  • CCNA certification strongly preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and provide support for network systems, such as local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), Internet, intranet, and other data communications systems.
  • Perform network device configuration, implementation, monitoring and configuration back up.
  • Perform network device lifecycle management (software and hardware upgrade) and inventory management.
  • Research and recommend network and data communications hardware and software.
  • Plan, coordinate, and implement network security measures.
  • Create and update detailed installation and support documentation.
  • Determine appropriate technology used to meet business requirements.
