About The Position

Network Administrator The Opportunity: Apply expertise in analytical, advisory, and technical analysis work to Air Force client activities. Maintain responsibility for ensuring the 24/7/365 continuity of classified and unclassified mission planning cell (MPC) networks. Support the operations and maintenance of a sophisticated multi-domain command and control system and the design and deployment of new capabilities. Monitor, patch, and update workstations, servers, and virtual machines, design and deploy system upgrades and enhancements, create and maintain system documentation, diagnose and solve system problems, and support users. You Have: 2+ years of experience as a network administrator Knowledge of Windows, Active Directory, and UNIX Knowledge of computing infrastructures Knowledge of hardware or software troubleshooting Knowledge of Windows and UNIX operating systems Ability to work 24/7 shifts rotating between days, swings, and mids TS/SCI clearance HS diploma or GED DoD 8570 Certification, including Security+ CE, SSCP, or GSEC Certification Nice If You Have: Experience with scripting, programming, and coding Experience with Java or .NET programming and High-Performance Computing (HPC) Experience in project leadership or project management in an IT domain Experience with license managers in a Windows or UNIX environment Experience with Windows Server administration, shell scripting, VMWare virtualization, Cisco networking equipment, network monitoring and logging tools, and thin or zero client solution Knowledge of fundamental networking or distributed computing environment concepts Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policy, Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), Domain Name System (DNS), Exchange, Lync, and Symantec NetBackup and Backup Exec Ability to train others in standard IT processes and procedures Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field DoD 8570 CISSP, Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate - Server, or Microsoft Certified IT Professional - Server Administrator (MCITP SA) Certification Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. Requirements
