About The Position

The Alaka'ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) is looking for a Network Administrator to support our government customer located in Maui, Hawai'i. The role involves performing configuration, installation, monitoring, troubleshooting, repair, preventative, and corrective maintenance for all site operational network infrastructure, including routers, switches, encryption devices, peripheral equipment, file/print servers, and software. The Network Administrator will ensure continuous network access, perform troubleshooting, and maintain security and performance of the network. Responsibilities also include maintaining Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) capability, managing vulnerability hardware and software, and enforcing network security policies. The position requires responding to support calls and providing end-to-end troubleshooting for various network systems.

Requirements

  • DoD 8140 IAT Level 2 Certified.
  • Three (3) years related experience.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Must pass Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI).
  • Must have an active DoD SECRET clearance and be willing to obtain TS/SCI clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • CCNA/CISSP certification.
  • Bachelor's degree in IT field.

Responsibilities

  • Perform configuration, installation, monitoring, troubleshooting, repair, preventative, and corrective maintenance for all site operational network infrastructure.
  • Ensure continuous network access and perform troubleshooting and recurring maintenance required to restore network service.
  • Maintain Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) capability to all critical network components.
  • Install, operate, and maintain vulnerability management hardware and software.
  • Maintain, update, and enforce AFIN network security policies.
  • Apply and maintain network management Automated Information Systems (AIS).
  • Configure, manage, maintain all VoIP/PA/VTC/Intercom systems.
  • Respond, troubleshoot, and mitigate all connectivity and service degradation concerns.
  • Perform installation support for NIPRNet, SIPRNet, and JWICS requirements.
  • Support all integration projects during installations and/or equipment enhancements.
  • Provide change management, software patching, administrative support, troubleshooting, and repair for communications systems.
  • Assist End User specialists with troubleshooting network issues.
  • Perform cable installation, fabrication, and management.
  • Maintain and administer an integrated data management system for program documents.
  • Meet response time requirements for emergency, urgent, and routine tickets.
