About The Position

This position provides troubleshooting assistance and problem resolution for computer systems in a variety of environments. Such assistance and resolution is provided for personal computers, mini/mainframe computers, client-servers as well Local Area Networks (LANs), Wide Area Networks (WANs), and web pages. Requirements

  • Must possess the following DoD Technical Certifications as outlined in DoD 8570.01-M: a minimum of IAT Level I Certification
  • IAT/IAM Certification(s) remain current throughout the contract period of the performance with no lapse in recertification
  • Must possess a Secret security clearance or be able to obtain prior to starting
  • Must qualify for and obtain a contractor driver's license for operation of government and leased vehicles
  • Training and/or experience with ACN, STAMIS, and any other approved Government systems which reside on the .mil network used in the performance of Aviation Maintenance
  • High School Graduate, or the equivalent combination of education
  • DoD IA Technical Level II certification, or work/military experience
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred but is secondary to exceeding required experience; current required certifications are required or must be obtained within a customer defined period
  • Certifications in IT/ Computer Information Systems or similar technical area highly desired
  • DoD IA Technical Level II Certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Operates, manages, and maintains services and security protocols for Information Technology (IT) hardware and software in compliance with DoD, Army, Fort Huachuca, and industry's performance requirements for network availability
  • Supports IT and Security functions to include interfaces with Government systems
  • Monitors, audits, and sustains the Aviation Maintenance Services IT Acquisition Documentation
  • Manages and maintains military aviation and approved Government systems which reside on the .mil network, (e.g. Aircraft Notebook [ACN], Combat-Service-Support Automated Information Systems Interface [CAISI], and Standard Army management Information Systems [STAMIS])
  • Manages and maintains any Contractor-supplied Information Systems
  • Ensures all IT operating on the .mil architecture supporting this task order is accredited IAW AR 25-2, Information Assurance; AR 25-1, Army Information Management; DoD 5220.22M and local NEC policies
  • Follows the Fort Huachuca Communications Security (COMSEC) Standard Operating Procedures in handling, storing, and protecting COMSEC
