About The Position

Tier One Technologies is seeking a Network Administrator with expertise in Two-Factor Authentication to support our U.S. Government client. This hybrid position will be located in Raleigh, NC. SELECTED CANDIDATES WITHOUT REQUIRED CLEARANCE WILL BE SUBJECT TO A FEDERAL GOVERNMENT BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION TO RECEIVE IT.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited College/University in the applicable field of services is preferred.
• 5+ years of Network Administrator experience.
• Familiarity with Entrust products, including Two-Factor Authentication solutions, certificate management, and encryption technologies.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to integrate email systems with other applications and platforms.
• Excellent communication skills to provide technical support and guidance to end-users.
• Proven ability to multi-task.
• Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-up, always-available service.
• Ability to maintain effective communication and working relationships with co-workers.
• Must be eligible to obtain a Position of Public Trust clearance.
• All candidates must be a US Citizen or have permanent residence status (Green Card).
• Candidate must have lived in the United States for the past 5 years.
• Cannot have more than 6 months travel outside the United States within the last 5 years. Military Service excluded.

Nice To Haves

• Entrust tool set.
• Network fundamentals - understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, OSI model, subnetting, routing, and switching.
• Familiarity with Cisco ISE for policy and user management.
• Proficiency with application layer protocols – HTTP, SSH, SSL, etc.

Responsibilities

• Administer internal Two-Factor Authentication platform (Entrust).
• Deploy and configure Two-Factor Authentication solutions for various systems, applications, and network resources to strengthen access controls and authentication mechanisms.
• Manage user profiles, authentication methods, enrollment processes, and access policies related to Two-Factor Authentication to ensure secure user access.
• Monitor 2FA logs, analyze authentication data, investigate suspicious activities, and respond to security incidents related to unauthorized access attempts or unusual authentication patterns.
• Monitor certificate expiration dates, renewals, revocations, and updates to ensure continuous validity and security compliance.
• Monitor and maintain remote access solutions such as VPN, routers, and switches.
• Configure, administer, document policies for Remote access authentication.
• Manage and troubleshoot remote access solutions such as VPN and SDWAN.
• Maintain a high-level troubleshooting of network and application issues as related to remote access.
• Plan and implement upgrades, patches, and installation of new applications and equipment.
• Create and maintain disaster recovery, security and backup and restore plan and policy.
• Conduct evaluation of new technologies to optimize network efficiency and performance.
