About The Position

Southridge Behavioral Hospital is a beautiful and new state-of-the-art facility. As a joint venture with the Trinity Health System and Universal Health Services, we will serve up to 96 adult and geriatric patients across four units and Partial Hospitalization Programming as we continue to open in 2025. Requirements

  • Associates degree in computer science or related field and/or equivalent experience required.
  • Prefer Bachelor's degree in computer related field.
  • Prefer 3-5 years of experience in the field of Information Services/Technology.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of computer hardware, software, networking, and troubleshooting computer system components.
  • Experience with DOS, LAN, WAN & VOIP preferred.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Investigating and diagnosing network problems.
  • Collecting IT usage stats.
  • Making recommendations for improving the company's IT systems.
  • Carrying out routine configuration and installation of IT solutions.
  • Providing one-to-one support to desktop users.
  • Diagnosing and resolving all IT issues using available internal and external resources.
  • Serving as project leader for all IT technology initiatives developed and implemented at the facility including comparative analyses and competitive bidding.
  • Maintaining all proper hardware/software licenses and renewing them as required.
  • Creating and updating all Information Technology policies and procedures in coordination with UHS IT department.
  • Maintaining asset database on all technology equipment.
  • Managing and coordinating WAN connections with UHS Corporate BHIS department, as well as domain within Southridge.
  • Managing IP phones and company cell phones.
  • Managing technology inventory to include procurement and appropriate disposal.
  • Maintaining confidentiality of all matters regarding the hospital's financial and patient care information as well as internal computer system (hardware and software) and security levels.
  • Other duties as assigned.
