Job Description: Provides ongoing network support, addresses availability issues, overcomes performance problems. Installs, maintains, and coordinates the use of network systems. Manages network performance, diagnoses performance problems, and undertakes tuning activities to ensure network performance meets SLA requirements. Troubleshoots and resolves problems to ensure quality transmission service on the network. Reports on overall network performance including frequent problems, underlying issues and plans to improve network availability, performance, and problem resolution. Trains users, maintains, creates, and deletes user accounts. Maintains and updates system security plans on all platforms. Implements and coordinates network policies, procedures, and standards. Enforces network security policies and procedures. Supports integration of tactical rotational networks such as JNN; JNTC; MCS;JTEN Must be able to travel CONUS and OCONUS to support training events and maintenance activities.

Requirements

(2 +BA/BS or 1+MA/MS) or (4 +AA in Electronics/Networking) or (6+ Experience in Networking/Computer Programming and Repair)
Must have current credentials in areas such as: COMPTIA Network, Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), MD-100: Windows 10/11, Managing Modern Desktops.
NACI Background Check.
Experience providing ongoing network support, addressing availability issues, and overcoming performance problems.
Skilled in installing, maintaining, and coordinating the use of network systems.
Experience managing network performance, diagnosing performance problems, and undertaking tuning activities to ensure network performance meets SLA requirements.
Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving problems to ensure quality transmission service on the network.
Experience reporting on overall network performance including frequent problems, underlying issues, and plans to improve network availability, performance, and problem resolution.
Experience training users, maintaining, creating, and deleting user accounts.
Skilled in maintaining and updating system security plans on all platforms.
Experience implementing and coordinating network policies, procedures, and standards.
Experience enforcing network security policies and procedures. Supports integration of tactical rotational networks such as JNN, JNTC, MCS, JTEN.
