Requirements

  • 1+ years of related experience in network administration.
  • IAT-II certification.
  • Degree, certification, or technical training in a related field.
  • Required technical skills: troubleshooting, customer service, problem resolution, teamwork.
  • Security Clearance Level: Secret.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Cisco networking equipment.
  • Familiarity with Service NOW for incident management.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Global Enterprise Fabric (GEF) network, providing 24/7 administration to over 340 network devices.
  • Operate and manage switches, including shutting down, starting up, and configuring switches.
  • Maintain Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) to DoD standards and troubleshoot issues.
  • Provide administration services to systems such as Cisco Identity Service Engine (ISE), Cisco F5, Cisco Nexus Dashboard Fabric Controller (NDFC), and Spectrum.
  • Execute Assigned Service Interruptions (ASIs) for maintenance and/or upgrades, including configurations, troubleshooting, and documentation.
  • Create and brief After Action Reports (AAR) and report status to management and stakeholders.
  • Create, edit, and resolve Incident tickets using Service NOW for both Classified and Unclassified taskings.
  • Review and verify documentation submitted by Change Management and/or customers for modifications to devices.
  • Collaborate with Regional Network Enterprise Centers (RNEC), Global Cyber Centers (GCC), Operations & Engineering Department (OED), and vendors to troubleshoot complex networking issues.
  • Train and mentor new personnel on shift responsibilities.
