About The Position

HII Mission Technologies is seeking a Network Administrator 3 (C4I) to support Fleet Synthetic Training events at Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Corona. The selected candidate will provide operational coordination and technical expertise supporting Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence (C4I) systems used in Navy training, experimentation, and wargaming environments. The Network Administrator will serve as a key contributor to mission planning, execution, and evaluation activities while ensuring Common Operational Picture (COP) and Global Command and Control System operations remain fully functional during training events. This position requires ability to adjust daily working hours occasionally to match times zones around the world where events are occurring and must able to work nights and weekends in support of FST and LVC events.

Requirements

  • Active-duty military experience in information technology.
  • 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field or 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field or 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.
  • Experience supporting C4I systems and Navy operational environments.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple systems simultaneously.
  • Effective communication with technical teams and leadership.
  • Strong organizational and mission planning capabilities.
  • Ability to obtain Windows or Linux operating system certification.
  • Must have current Security + certification or able to obtain within 3 months of hire.
  • Active DoW Secret Clearance and ability to maintain.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting Navy Fleet Synthetic Training (FST) programs.
  • Experience with NCTE or distributed training environments.
  • Prior experience supporting operational or tactical-level warfare events.
  • Experience with Navy experimentation or wargaming operations.
  • Current active DOW Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and support Operations Tasking (OPTASK) and Common Tactical Picture Management (CTPM) requirements for fleet exercises.
  • Support Naval Continuous Training Environment (NCTE) Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) compliance efforts.
  • Recommend updates and assist in development of SOPs supporting expanding fleet training requirements.
  • Support planning, execution, testing, and assessment of Fleet Synthetic Training events.
  • Support live, virtual, and constructive operational training environments.
  • C4I Tactical Data Link and Global Command and Control System (GCCS) Subject Matter Expert (SME).
  • Provide operational and technical support for: Link Monitoring and Management Tool (LMMT) GCCS-Joint (GCCS-J)
  • Identify, communicate, and resolve technical issues impacting mission execution.
  • Coordinate and deconflict operational resource requirements.
  • Troubleshoot system integration and operational data issues across multiple platforms.
  • Interpret technical documentation and system requirements.
  • Support Navy experimentation and wargame operations to achieve training objectives.
  • Maintain situational awareness across operational and tactical warfare environments.
