About The Position

This position works as a contractor as part of a mixed team of government and contractor personnel. Their task is to augment the Govt staff in daily network administration and user support. They provide configuration, installation, monitoring, troubleshooting, repair, preventive, and corrective maintenance to the network, and ISP/OSP. Additionally, they provide network vulnerability management, system scanning, network server support, change management, software patching, administrative support, troubleshooting, and repair for communications systems encompassing the operational network.

Requirements

• Must have at least 5+ years of related Network Administrator experience or similar skillset
• Must have a Security+ CE Certification or higher
• Must hold an active Secret Security clearance

Responsibilities

• Augment the Govt staff in daily network administration and user support
• Provide configuration, installation, monitoring, troubleshooting, repair, preventive, and corrective maintenance to the network, and ISP/OSP
• Provide network vulnerability management
• Perform system scanning
• Provide network server support
• Manage changes
• Perform software patching
• Provide administrative support
• Troubleshoot and repair for communications systems encompassing the operational network
