The Network Administrator is responsible for the daily operation of the campus data network which includes, but is not limited to, the installation of new equipment, configuration of new equipment, troubleshooting connectivity problems, and managing the network engineering ticket queue. The Network Administrator will also participate in projects. The Network Administrator focuses on the maintenance, configuration, and operation of access layer network electronics. The Network Administrator's routine daily activities are focused on processing network service requests for field work but may also assist the telecom team with cable installation and/or repair as needed. Telework may be available for this position up to two days per week following the completion of 90 days of service in good standing.
